Terms and Conditions

1.The service

Gia Directory reads contact and directory data from the Google Workspace tenants you link, consolidates it into a single directory, and — where you explicitly enable it — writes consolidated contacts back into those tenants.

We provide the service on a subscription basis. What each plan includes, including limits on linked tenants, console users and directory contacts, is shown in the console and forms part of these terms.

2.Your account and your users

• You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by users you invite.
• You must keep sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly of any suspected misuse.
• You must have the authority to link each Google Workspace tenant you connect, and to permit us to process the directory data within it.
• Roles and permissions are yours to configure. We are not responsible for access you grant to your own users.

3.Plans, fees and payment

Plan prices are shown in the console and are stated in Omani Rial (OMR) unless the plan says otherwise. The price and any discount applying to your subscription are fixed at the moment you subscribe and are not changed retrospectively by a later change to our price list.

Payments made in the console are processed by OMPAY, a licensed payment provider. Your card details are entered on OMPAY’s own secure page and are never received, processed or stored by us. We record only the outcome of a payment, its amount, and the reference number.

A subscription is activated once we have confirmed the payment with the payment provider. Where a payment appears to have succeeded but does not match the amount we requested, we will hold activation and contact you rather than act on it automatically.

4.Term and renewal

Subscriptions run for the interval you select, monthly or yearly, from the date of activation. We do not store your card and nothing renews automatically: to continue beyond the current term you make a further payment in the console.

If a term ends without renewal, synchronisation stops and access may be limited to reading and exporting data already in your directory.

5.Refunds and cancellation

• You may stop using the service at any time. Because nothing renews automatically, stopping simply means not making a further payment.
• Fees already paid for a current term are non-refundable except where required by law, or where we agree otherwise in writing — for example where a payment was taken in error or duplicated.
• Where we approve a refund, it is returned through the original payment method.

6.Discount codes

Discount codes are valid only for the plan, period and number of uses stated when they are issued. They have no cash value and may be withdrawn for future use at any time; withdrawal does not affect a subscription already activated with the code.

7.Your data

Directory data you bring into the service remains yours. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we do not sell it or use it to train models.

Writing contacts back into a linked Google Workspace tenant is off by default and happens only where it has been deliberately enabled for your account.

8.Acceptable use

• Do not use the service unlawfully, or to store data you have no right to process.
• Do not attempt to access another customer’s data, probe our infrastructure, or circumvent plan limits.
• Do not resell or provide the service to third parties without our written agreement.

9.Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available and to restore it promptly when it is not, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and changes to Google’s APIs can all interrupt synchronisation.

10.Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where fees are unpaid, where these terms are breached, or where continued operation would be unlawful. Except in urgent cases we will tell you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to put things right.

On termination you may export your directory data for a reasonable period, after which we delete it in line with our Privacy Policy.

11.Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

You remain responsible for maintaining your own backups of data held in your Google Workspace tenants.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you make a payment is the version that applies to that subscription term, and we record which version you accepted. Material changes will be notified before they take effect.

13.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of the Sultanate of Oman have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
